小狗卡皮Kipper这系列动画片是根据Mick Inkpen的同名系列绘本改编而来的，不过，动画跟绘本也就是角色和有些故事的大体框架相似，并不是匹配的。 Mick Inkpen还有另一系列作品：威比猪Wibbly Pig。

小狗卡皮Kipper系列动画，每一集8分钟左右，画面风格和Wibbly Pig一样，非常干净，基本上就是主角，其他背景不太多，即使有，也是素净的陪衬。虽然画面素净，但因为Kipper是亮橙色，因此，画面的色彩对比度非常好，应该是很吸引小孩子的风格。

小狗卡皮Kipper系列动画，这里一共有64个文件，其中第一和第二张盘各自有4集，那就一共是70集小狗卡皮Kipper的故事（因为是vcd版的，所以清晰度一般）。小狗卡皮Kipper系列有内嵌英语字幕。语速和Wibbly Pig差不多，词汇和句子难度比Wibbly Pig低，因为小狗卡皮Kipper系列没有太多画外配音，因此，趣味性比Wibbly Pig可能更胜一筹。

非常喜欢小狗卡皮Kipper这系列动画，尤其是片头曲，Jazz的风格很浓郁，听起来非常有感觉。
